MAY DAY - MAY DAY
For the month of May, we are going to simulate a disaster event. We will be simulating a Flood. Now remember what we are practicing can be use in ANY type of event.
This exercise is being compressed so that every Idaho Winlink Wednesday is just the next day of this exercise. Please be creative but real.
Scenario
A large storm has entered your county. It has high winds and 2 inches of rain every hour for 2 hours.
Use your local area and fill out the Winlink forms listed below
May 1
Fill out a Severe Weather Report. Found in the templates under Weather Forms
May 8
Fill out a Field Situation Report. Found in the templates under General Forms.
May 15
Fill out a Damage Assessment survey. Found in the templates under General Forms.
May 22
Fill out an Incident Status Form. Found in the templates under General Forms.
May 29
Fill out a Winlink Check-out form. Found in the templates under General Forms.
